Firearms Manufacturer Improves Production by "Pulling the Trigger" on New CNC Chucker that's a Mill and Lathe in One Machine
Kineti-Tech manufactures aftermarket gun parts. The Plant City, Fla. business recently turned to Eurotech -- a neighbor about an hour up the road -- for a high-performance CNC Chucker that would streamline production. The results were eye opening. For a Muzzle Brake part, cycle time and operations were cut from two machines in 20 minutes to 1 machine in 7 minutes with the new Eurotech Forza.
Dennis Doney is the owner of Kineti-Tech, a firearms manufacturing company which he runs with his son, Sage, in Plant City, Florida. "We originally made parts for the medical industry," said Doney, "but about five years ago we switched to firearms manufacturing as demand was so high."

Recently, Kineti-Tech "pulled the trigger" (pun intended) on a new TA Forza single turret heavy-duty turning machine that's a true mill and lathe in one machine.

Once we had the machine on the floor and started producing gun parts -- primarily muzzle brakes and barrel shrouds -- we were not disappointed. This new model machines our parts even faster than our other Eurotech machines; and live tools with 15 HP and 12000 RPM is like having a mill and lathe in one machine," added Doney.
